This 2 hour workshop is medicine for the soul. You can expect some mindful, grounding meditation, breathing practices, blissful gentle restorative & yin yoga poses and healing touch from two different body workers. The massage component will activate the sen/ energy lines in the body & various pressure points. The results will be soothing, helping to relieve stress and tension. All bodies, abilities and levels of experience are welcome in this inclusive, rejuvenating practice. Rebecca guides the YIN portion of the class while Lori and Jessica will focus on bodywork. Molly McConnell, RYT 500, and Sierra Brashear, MA, are both Clinical Ayurvedic Practitioners and graduates of Alandi Ashram’s 2,000+ hour, National Ayurvedic Medical Association certified program. In addition to their formal training, they have both experienced personal wellness transformations catalyzed by Ayurveda (for themselves as well as their clients), and are advocates for preventative wellness, social justice and body positivity in their daily lives. The two believe that self care is a radical act — reminding us that when we are vibrant and awake, we have the clarity and energy to show up for what we believe in.

Inversions & Arm balance postures have incredible physical and energetic benefits! Turning upside down increases blood flow to the brain for mental clarity as blood returns to the heart. Inversions delivers oxygen and nutrients to body cells while removing waste materials through the Venous and lymphatic systems.
Arm balancing helps you get stronger through your core and upper body while gaining confidence and power. We will focus on Crow pose, side crow, eight angle pose, & the flying pigeon.
This workshop will teach you techniques to strengthen your arms & wrists. We will warm up with core work needed for stability & safety, while learning a variety of inversions; handstand, shoulder stand, forearm stand and head stand.

This course is an immersive dive into the world of yoga assists as taught by Tucker Shelton, M.A., E-RYT 500, YACEP, KYM 300. This training will give attendees a solid foundation for offering ethical and thoughtful assists in yoga classes of all styles.
Tucker will discuss the ethics, theory, and practical use of yoga assists. You will study traditional yoga assists along with partner yoga and Thai Yoga Massage techniques. You will learn how to modify your offerings to meet the needs of the many bodies you will encounter as a teacher. There will be ample opportunity to apply what you've learned in an all-levels practice open to the public.
